Wagga Wagga
Closing Date: 15 Mar, 2024
Wagga Wagga , NSW

Job Description

Are you are trying to workout what you are going to do with yourself after school.

This is an opportunity for you to undertake a School Based Traineeship that will enable you to earn some cash but also undertake a Traineeship in Warehousing.

Benefits for you!

  • A school-based traineeship combines paid work, training and school; and as well as an industry recognised national qualification you will gain credit towards the HSC.
  • SBATs are available to all Year 10, 11 and 12 high school students in NSW. They allow you to complete a traineeship while at school.
  • Some traineeships can contribute towards the ATAR.
  • Work a minimum of 100 - 180 days* in paid employment by December 31 of the HSC year

Our client is a relaxed, family friendly local business that is looking for a new committed staff member to join the team as soon as possible.

You’ll be working in a very fast paced warehouse that is flat out everyday! You’ll also have the chance to travel to different site locations with the team to assist with the erection and pack down part of their service.

So, if you have a gym membership you can cancel that because you will be doing heavy lifting, you’ll end up with biceps and shoulders like Hercules.

You’ll be trained in picking and packing orders, how to interpret purchase orders, how to safely pack pallets ready for transport and storage, learn how to operate a forklift and how to clean and maintain all equipment.

As mentioned this will be run as a traineeship so you’ll get a formal ticket whilst working.

This business also has a great track record with upskilling and internal promotion.

When you work with Squad we make sure all your pay is under control, so no getting short changed for your hard work and we also make sure you have all the PPE you need.

So, if you are keen then click apply
