  • Diagnose, overhaul, repair, tune, maintain and test heavy vehicle
  •  Detect mechanical and electrical faults by using instruments that check charging and starting circuitry, batteries, ignition and ignition timing, fuel injection systems and speed control, cylinder compression, engine condition, braking efficiency, and wheel balance / alignment
  • Use oxy, electric, TIG and MIG welding, hand fitting or machining processes to replace or repair faulty parts
  • Carry out minor body and trim repairs
  • Inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or list the work required before a certificate can be issued

We are seeking a 1st year Apprentice Spray Painter to join the team, the regular duties you will be expected to undertake as a first year is;

  • Stripping the aircraft of its current paintwork
  • Helping mask up the aircraft
  • Assisting tradesman
  • General workshop cleaning
  • Study

 

This business has a strong history and succession plan, it is still family owned and operated after its establishment in 1979 it now has over 200 clients on the books.

This team is passionate about the aviation industry with many of the staff having their pilots licence. These guys would love someone with the same passion to join the team; they would even help the right person get their pilots licence.

Squad in conjunction with a well-known supplier of specialist products to the Fire Protection and building industries are seeking a motivated and reliable employee to join their team as a Warehousing Trainee.

This is a rare opportunity to gain hands on experience and training from qualified professionals and undertake study to gain a nationally recognised qualification. This is a full time position.

The Role

 Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

  • Timely and efficient processing of customer orders
  • Support Warehousing Supervisor in multitude of tasks around the warehouse
  • Packaging and dispatch of customer orders
  • Adhere to all WHS worksite policies

What are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have the following;

  • High level of written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proactive, motivated and reliable
  • Work well in a team and be able to take directions
  • Be prepared to commit to a 18 month traineeship
