As a specialist you will be engaging with our customers daily in relation to their insurance policies to find what option is best suited to them.

What are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have the following;

  • Previous Customer Service experience - hospitality, retail, administration or contact centre preferred
  • Previous experience working with computers including navigating multiple systems simultaneously
  • A passion for helping our customers and making a difference
  • High levels of resilience and empathy
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems

You will be given time on the job to focus on your studies. You will also have the support of a Squad Mentor who will visit you on site on a regular basis throughout your Traineeship.

Squad, in conjunction with a locally family owned Mulwala Chinese restaurant are currently seeking a 1st Year Apprentice Asian Chef with a can do attitude to join their team. This role is full time where your passion for food and cooking will develop, working towards a nationally recognised qualification in Commercial Cookery.  

The Role - This role comes with a lot of variety and the chance to get some highly sought-after experience. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

  • Assist with organising & preparing food.
  • Use methods of cookery as shown by the Chef and through formal studies.
  • Prepare food items in accordance with menu requirements using standard recipes and production methods as directed by the Chef.
  • Assist food production as directed by the Chef.
  • Ensure smooth work flow. 
  • Clean and maintain kitchen
  • Actively observe, learn and practice commercial cookery as per requirements of the apprenticeship

Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanic - 3rd or 4th Year

The Role  

This role comes with a plenty of variety and the chance to get highly sought after experience. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;  

  • Undertake repairs, tune-ups, maintenance and servicing
  • Dismantle and overhaul engine assemblies, transmissions and steering mechanisms
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve in timely manner
  • Use welding, machining or hand tools to repair parts  

What are we looking for?

  • Someone with a genuine interest in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
  • Commitment to complete Apprenticeship
  • Current drivers licence
